|
Main organizers: Kira Adaricheva (Yeshiva University, New York, USA) Eszter K. Horváth (Bolyai
Institute, University of Szeged) In August 2011, the first workshop
Algebra Across the Borders was organized
with the goal to bring
together researchers in algebra, computer science
and applied mathematics. The workshop took place in New York, at the Department
of Mathematical Sciences
of Yeshiva University: http://www.mini.pw.edu.pl/~aab/ We announce
the second installment of this workshop in Szeged, Hungary, June 17-20, prior to algebraic conference: http://www.math.u-szeged.hu/algebra2012/ The topics
of interest: (1) implicational
systems (Horn Boolean functions, directed hypergraphs, closure
operators) (2) algebras
with commuting functions (modes) and aggregation theory (3) constraint
satisfaction problems (4) knowledge
representation (5) lattice
theory in applied mathematics List of participants (for abstract, please click ont he name): Ralph Freese (University of Hawaii), Michal Stronkowski (Warsaw University of Technology), Gyula O. H.
