Debrecen-Szeged

Tradition of irregular meetings

The tradition of the Debrecen-Szeged Geometric Meetings is the irregularity ...

The idea of the Debrecen-Szeged Geometric Meeting was inspired by the fact that the head of the Department of Geometry at Szeged leaved Szeged in 1995 to lead the Department of Geometry at Debrecen.

The most important goals of these Meetings are to get acquainted with geometers from both universities and learning about topics of eachothers.

A meeting usually takes three days, but only the second one is complete. Halfs of the first and third days are spent by traveling to and back. On the second day the proven program consits of lectures and a short excursion.
