A structured population model with distributed recruitment on a space of measures

In this talk we will formulate a physiologically structured population model with a distributed recruitment on the space of non-negative Radon measures. We will show how to apply the theory of strongly continuous positive semigroups in this setting. In particular, we will carry out a detailed spectral analysis to study the asymptotic behaviour of solutions. Joint work with Anna Marciniak-Czochra and Piotr Gwiazda.
