| Abstract. We will start with the notion of condenser and its basic properties (e.g. monotonicity, conformal invariance). Then we consider several transformations such that polarization, symmetrization (Schwarz, Steiner, circular) and dissymmetrization. It will be shown how some well known classical and quite recent results can be proved following this way (e.g. covering and distortion theorems for univalent functions). (This series of talks is based on papers by Dubinin, Solynin, and Vuorinen) |
