Béla Nagy: Overview of some results on multiply connected domains and Schottky groups

Abstract. In this talk, we first consider conformal equivalence of multiply connected domains. We discuss the circular domains (proved by Koebe) and some other tools, e.g. reflection principle, open-up results, and some basic facts about Schottky groups (iterated inversions). Most of these results can be found in Nehari's book, and Conway's Functions of One Complex Variable II. If time permits, we see some recent results by Khavinson, 1983,  and Crowdy, 2008.
