Béla Nagy: Some estimates for equilibrium measure and their possible applications

Abstract. We discuss the equilibrium measure of level lines of Chebyshev polynomials and give sharp estimates for them. Using conformal mappings and an adopted form of boundary Harnack inequality, we compare the balayage onto the Chebyshev level lines and onto two intervals. Further, a special integral will help us to give sharp estimate for the balayage measure. A possible application will be also mentioned, this is  a construction related to Lp Bernstein inequality.
