| Abstract. Keith Kearnes, Emil Kiss, and I have worked on the project of classifying all abelian minimal varieties for the last few years. I presented some of our results in my seminar talk in December 2019. After summarizing these eariler result, I will focus in this talk on more recent results concerning strongly abelian minimal varieties. One of these results is a new construction for algebras generating strongly abelian minimal varieties, which is a generalization of the matrix power construction. |
