Privacy Policy on data processing related to the FINITE GEOMETRY WORKSHOP 2019 SZEGED conference.

We inform you that the University of Szeged as data controller deals with all personal data in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC and Act 112 of 2011 on the Right of Informational Self-Determination and on Freedom of Information.

Taking photos during the program

We inform you that we will take photos during the conference, in general, as recordings made in a crowd.

According to Section 2:48 Article (2) of Act 5 of 2013 on the Civil Code, the consent of the relevant person is not required for recording his/her likeness or voice, and for the use of such recording if made of a crowd or in a public event. However, previous information should be given in these cases, so we fulfill the preliminary notification obligation to inform data subjects through this Privacy Policy, and through information provided at the conference stating “We would like to inform you that photos will be taken during this event”. As the University of Szeged is dedicated to the protection and safety of all kinds of personal data, and the respect of privacy, we inform you that we use the photos made in a crowd, and in a public event to promote the conference and for marketing purposes through the online and offline channels of the Faculty of Science and Informatics of the University of Szeged.

We inform you about your rights in connection with the FINITE GEOMETRY WORKSHOP 2019 SZEGED conference of the Faculty of Science and Informatics:
