Registration will take place in the
Alfréd Rényi
Mathematical Institute, on July 1 (Sunday), 3:00 -- 8:00 p.m.,
and on July 2 (Monday), 8:00 -- 8:55 a.m. Please, do not feel
obliged to register on Sunday if you are tired because of
your travel.
We have pre-booked rooms for the participants in two price categories. Prices are given in Hungarian Fts; the present exchange rate is approximately $1 = 300 Fts.
(1) Moderately priced guest rooms, rooms in dormitories
Price: 3800--5600 Fts per night for a double room,
2300--3500 Fts per night for a single room.
Facilities: The more expensive rooms have private bathrooms.
No air conditioning.
With some of the rooms, breakfast is provided for additional 400 Fts per
day.
Distance: approx. 20 minutes from the site of the workshop by public
transportation.
(2) House of Professors (of the Technical University in Budapest)
Price: 12800 Fts per night for a double room (for 2 persons),
11600 Fts per night for a double room (for 1 person),
10500 Fts per night for a single room.
Breakfast is included.
Facilities: Nice, spacious rooms with bathroom and mini kitchen.
No air conditioning.
Distance: approx. 20 minutes from the site of the workshop by public
transportation.
Unless you want to arrange your own accommodation, we ask you to select one of options (1), (2) on the registration form. Please note that the number of pre-booked rooms of type (2) is limited. Therefore we ask you to register early if you choose this option. If immediate responses show a higher demand for these rooms than we expected, then we hope to be able to book more rooms of similar quality and price.
If the workshop will be supported by the Erdos Center, then moderately priced accommodation [option (1)] will be covered for approximately 30 participants. In this case, rooms paid by the Erdos Center will be assigned to participants on a first come first served basis, starting with the better equipped rooms.
We would like to be prepared also for the case if the workshop will not be supported by the Erdos Center. Therefore, if you select option (1), we ask you to indicate your preferences for the case you have to pay for your accommodation. (For example, we would like to know if in that case you prefer cheaper accommodation within the price range of option (1); or that you prefer a room with a private bathroom even if that costs more.)
A limited amount of support will be available for students and young people who are not supported by their universities even if the workshop is not supported by the Erdos Center. Therefore we also ask you to indicate if you need support for accommodation in order to be able to attend.
All requests (for room preference or support) will be satisfied on a first come, first served basis.
