    dedicated to the 80th birthday of Bela Csakany

ON-SITE REGISTRATION
--------------------
The time and location for on-site registration are as follows:

    Wednesday (June 20), 17:00 -- 21:00
    Thursday  (June 21),  8:30 -- 10:00

We recommend to take advantage of the registration on Wednesday
evening in order to avoid long queues on Thursday morning.

Location: Szeged Committee of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences
Address: Somogyi utca 7.

You can find maps and information about conference related
places on the conference website.

The regular registration fee is 60 EUR / 18 000 HUF / 80 USD,
and the reduced registration fee (for students and accompanying
persons) is 30 EUR / 9 000 HUF / 40 USD. We kindly ask you to
bring the exact amount in cash; we can return change only in HUF.
We may be able to accept card payment, but the type of acceptable
cards is not clear at the moment. As soon as we have more
information, we will post it on the conference website.



SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM
------------------
The conference will start on

    June 21 (Thursday) at 10:00  a.m.,

and will conclude on

    June 25 (Monday) early afternoon.

The lectures will take place in the building of the

    Szeged Committee of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences
    Address: Somogyi utca 7.

which is located in the center of Szeged, next to the Cathedral (Dom).

The scientific program of the conference will consist of
50-minute invited lectures by

    Kira Adaricheva (Yeshiva University, New York, USA)
    Libor Barto (McMaster University, Hamilton, Canada and
                 Charles University, Prague, Czech Republic)
    Ralph Freese (University of Hawaii, Honolulu, USA)
    George Gratzer (University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Canada)
    Ralph McKenzie (Vanderbilt University, Nashville, USA)
    Reinhard Poschel (Technische Universitat Dresden, Dresden, Germany)
    Agnes Szendrei (University of Colorado, Boulder, USA and
                    University of Szeged, Szeged, Hungary)
    Ross Willard (University of Waterloo, Waterloo, Canada)
    Dmitriy Zhuk (Moscow State University, Moscow, Russia)

and about forty 20-minute contributed talks, partially in
parallel sessions.

A tentative schedule of talks will be posted on the website of
the conference soon.



ABSTRACTS
---------
A booklet with abstracts of the talks presented at the conference
will be prepared and distributed to the participants. The individual
abstracts can already be seen on the conference website, in the
list of registered participants.


SOCIAL EVENTS
-------------
All registered participants and accompanying persons are invited to
the banquet of the conference on June 22 (Friday) evening.
No talks will be scheduled for Friday afternoon; interested participants
are invited to a guided tour in the Franciscan church and monastery
in Szeged.

SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM

The conference will start on June 21, Thursday morning,
and will conclude on June 25, Monday early afternoon.
The program of the conference will consist of nine
one-hour invited lectures by

REGISTRATION

All participants of the conference are kindly asked to
fill in and submit the online registration form
until May 20th at the following link:

The registration fee is 60 Euros payable at the conference
site in cash. The registration fee for students and
accompanying persons is 30 Euros. No registration fee
for children 6 years of age or younger.

The fee covers organizational costs (lecture room rental,
handouts, abstracts, etc.), the costs of refreshments
and snacks during the breaks, and the banquet.

A booklet with abstracts of the talks presented at the
conference will be prepared and distributed to the participants.
Please enter your abstract on the online registration form,
which you can update and modify until June 1st.

We invite you to attend the conference

        UNIVERSAL ALGEBRA AND LATTICE THEORY

        (Szeged, Hungary, June 21-25, 2012)

which will be dedicated to the 80th birthday of
Bela Csakany.

The program of the conference will consist of 6--8
one hour invited lectures and numerous contributed talks.
We will inform you about the invited speakers,
submission of abstracts of contributed talks,
and details of registration in due course.
