The author
reviews the results on the existence problem of periodic solutions
of functional-differential equations in the quasilinear and strongly
nonlinear cases. As a result the author obtains the theorems
which are a generalization, correction and union of the known
achievement. In the strongly nonlinear case the Lyapunov's method
is used for finding a priori bounds for periodic solutions of
the equations family. As a result of this the author formulates
a statement on the bound of periodic solutions. This colateral
(for the aim of the paper) result is useful also in other situations.
Finally, the review character of the paper allows to substantiate
the chosen approach to the problem.}
